by Douglas Guy on October 15, 2011

Many of our readers have made inquiries recently, as to whether they can make money with their own home based business, or whether we make money with the system we use. The answer on both counts is Yes!

In the first installment in our series, 6 Steps To Achieve Massive Success In Home Based Business, we talked about choosing a primary business offer that’s right for you, and how to go about doing just that. After reading through this article, we highly encourage those of you who have not read it to view the original article by clicking on the title text in the previous line. In this installment, we will talk about getting your new home based business started on the right foot through a progression of action tasks that helped our business grow very quickly.

Action Task #1: There are two questions you need to answer about “Why” you started a home based business.

1.      Why are you working the business?

2.     What got you interested in your primary offer?

When I first got started, it was important for me to answer these questions, so that I fully understood “Why” I began my home based business. This is a crucial first step in achieving massive success, because to attain as result of this magnitude will require you stay focused on your business and not jump ship at the first sign of stormy waters. There are many people that will do everything in their power to get you to sign on with them and their deal. These people are most likely “MLM Junkies” that are constantly jumping from one offer to another looking for the next overnight get rich quick scheme. This tactic will only serve to keep you thirsting for more of what they are caught up in, and will do nothing to build long term residual results.

Action Task #2: Take time to schedule when you will work your home based business at the beginning of every week, and those times you cannot.

Many of you may be starting part time, and will have time constraints that are not conducive to working your business like a full time job. Some of you might have children where they have school events, extra-curricular functions, or sports activities that will interrupt a regular daily time slot for you to develop your business. In either case, it will be extremely important to jot down these times on a weekly planner to note the specific times each day you have available to work your home based business. In the case of married couples I highly suggest that each partner share the work load of each to maximize your overall production.

Action Task #3: Get connected and stay connected with your primary home based business opportunities events calendar.

Most reputable firms these days have a wealth of training videos, live training events, and live and recorded webinars. It is a great habit to look at the upcoming events for each week, and pen them in on your weekly calendar as well. Let the tools share your work load and do what they are designed to do; promote your home based business opportunity.

Action Task #4: Have a working knowledge of your products, and promote them through e-mailing your list, using sales and landing pages, opt-in forms, and through the use of banner ads on your home based business website.

It is not necessary to be an expert or an authority on the product lines you have to offer. Again, the sales and promotional tools that are available to you are designed to do most of the selling for your home based business opportunity.

With great enthusiasm, it was our pleasure bringing you, 6 Steps To Achieve Massive Success In Home Based Business II. In Part III of our series, we will discuss building and continually adding to your list through both online and offline strategies.
